as a transition from arithmetic to algebra. The major emphasis
is on teaching students to reason and communicate mathematically
and to prepare them for Algebra Transition. Topics covered include
variables and expressions, integers, graphing on the coordinate
plane, solving multi-step equations, ratio and proportion, and
probability. |
