Art 6: Students will continue building on skills learned in grades 4 and 5. Observational drawing, radial design, resist techniques, painting, graphic illustration, printmaking and 3-D construction will be explored. Students will be responsible for keeping up with weekly sketchbook assignments during the nine week quarter.

Art 7/8: This class is a nine week survey course teaching aspects and techniques of the creative visual arts. Assignments are grouped in "A" and "B" curricula and include many of the following: 3-D construction, linoleum block printing, still-life drawing, and still-life and self-portrait painting, non-objective marker designs, clay masks, stippling, figure drawing, mola, tessellations graphic designs and weekly sketch book assignments.
