S.O.S. is a seventh grade
service club. Open to all seventh graders, the focus of the club is service both
within the school community and in the greater Baton Rouge community area.
Organized by students in 1994, it has remained a small club that has completed
many projects. Some of our most successful activities include hosting a Christmas
party for disabled adults, joining with Episcopal’s kindergarten class to host
an annual Easter event for kindergartners from our sister school, Melrose, and
doing yard work for a member of our school who was sick for an extended period
of time.
Club members and students look forward to our annual ice cream
sale. The profit from this event is contributed to different charity each year. |
