EBRP
public schools will be closed on Thursday because of tropical storm Isidore.
Our policy is that we do what they do and so we will also be closed.
—Thursday
—Friday
| Wednesday, September
25: |
- There will be no middle school practices after school.
- Extended care will take place and late buses will run on their
normal schedules.
- The PSAT class has been cancelled and a make up will be offered
at a later date.
- So long as there is power, the web, e-mail and voice mail
servers will remain up. After 4 PM all other data systems will
be shut down to avoid damage. This means that faculty and students
will not have remote access to their personal folders.
|
| Thursday,
September 26: |
- No school or athletic events or practices will be held.
- The father-son football dinner will be rescheduled since
there will be no air-conditioning on campus.
|
| Friday,
September 27: |
- We expect to have school, but watch EBR Parish
public schools. If they are closed, we will also be closed.
Should there be damage to our campus or a power outage, we will
announce whether we will have school on the news media or if
possible on our website and voice-mail.
- Assuming that classes are held Friday, the Upper
School will follow a schedule that allows for 45 minute classes
which means that both Day1 and 2 classes will meet. A copy of
this schedule has been e-mailed to all Upper School Faculty
and students.
- The football game will be played on Friday according
to schedule if both competing schools have classes on Friday.
Otherwise, the game will be moved to 5:30 PM on Sunday, September
29th.
- The pep rally that was scheduled for 2:45 on
Friday has been cancelled.
- We are waiting to hear from Mobile before making
a decision on the volleyball trip.
- All Sunday activities will run according
to their normal schedule.
