Nineteen members of the Episcopal Mu Alpha Theta club competed in the Catholic High School Math Tournament on Saturday, January 8th. Six students earned individual awards and two teams placed in their events.

The Calculus AB team, comprised of Kristen Williams, Michael Becker, Hung Chu and Brian Backstedt, earned first place in their event.

The Calculus BC team of Bret Wilson, Jessica Ferreyra, Stanley Chen and Kenneth Leu, earned second place.

Additionally, Episcopal students received the following honors: Irene Huang, Honorable Mention in Algebra II; Trey Miller, Honorable Mention in Trigonometry; Michael Bujol, 2nd place in Trigonometry; Kristen Williams, 6th place in Calculus AB; Kenneth Leu, 3rd place in Calculus BC; and Bret Wilson, 2nd place in Calculus BC.
