Introduction & Stated Purpose
A Food Service Committee was formed this year to discuss
issues relative to the school’s food services department
as a means of improving the school’s understanding of (i)
the challenges within the department; and (ii) the needs
of those
the department it serves.
The diverse committee is comprised
of representatives of
administration, Lower School faculty, Middle School faculty,
Upper School faculty, and athletic department faculty,
Upper School students, Parent’s Guild,
cafeteria staff and the cafeteria director. The membership
was designed to be representative of each constituency
within our school community and to act as
an appropriate communication conduit for information to
flow to and from these various school wide constituencies.
It’s
expected that the group will hold several
meetings this fall to address concerns brought to the committee
then not reconvene
until early in the spring to track progress.
